About Zakkushi on Denman
In recent years, “Japanese food” has been registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, and attention to “Japanese food” is steadily increasing worldwide.
However, it must be said that it is still developing here in Canada.
Sushi and ramen are not the only “Japanese food”.
More of the various ingredients rooted in Japan’s natural climate, cooking techniques that make use of the taste of those ingredients, healthy eating methods that are the basis of longevity and obesity prevention, and the spirit of enjoying the changes of the four seasons.
For more than 20 years since it opened as the first restaurant in 2004, we have been playing a part in disseminating Japanese food culture and at the same time striving to provide a space that makes you feel like you are in a Japanese izakaya.
First of all, you can enjoy the authentic charcoal-grilled chicken grilled with Bincho charcoal.
We also prepare new seasonal menus according to spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
